Integrability in gravity from Chern-Simons theory [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
This paper presents a new perspective on integrability in theories of gravity. We show how the stationary, axisymmetric sector of General Relativity can be described by the boundary dynamics of a four-dimensional Chern-Simons theory.

Fermionic CFTs from topological boundaries in abelian Chern-Simons theories

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
A quantum field theory is referred to as bosonic (non-spin) if its physical quantities are independent of the spacetime spin structure, and as fermionic (spin) if they depend on it.

Vertex Operator Algebras and Topologically Twisted Chern-Simons-Matter Theories

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
We consider several topologically twisted Chern-Simons-matter theories and propose boundary VOAs whose module categories should model the category of line operators of the 3d bulk.

The thermal free energy in large N Chern-Simons-matter theories

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2013
We compute the thermal free energy in large N U(N) Chern-Simons-matter theories with matter fields (scalars and/or fermions) in the fundamental representation, in the large temperature limit.

Chern-Simons matter theories and higher spin gravity

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
We compute the parity violating three point amplitudes with one scalar leg in higher spin gravity and compare results with those of Chern-Simons matter theories. The three-point correlators of the free boson, free fermion, critical vector model and Gross-

Effective field theories for interacting boundaries of 3D topological crystalline insulators through bosonisation. [PDF]

open access: yesSci Rep, 2020
Here, we analyse two Dirac fermion species in two spatial dimensions in the presence of general quartic contact interactions. By employing functional bosonisation techniques, we demonstrate that depending on the couplings of the fermion interactions the ...

Topological reflected entropy in Chern-Simons theories [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
We study the reflected entropy between two spatial regions in $(2+1)$-dimensional Chern-Simons theories. Taking advantage of its replica trick formulation, the reflected entropy is computed using the edge theory approach and the surgery method.

Three-dimensional de Sitter horizon thermodynamics

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
We explore thermodynamic contributions to the three-dimensional de Sitter horizon originating from metric and Chern-Simons gauge field fluctuations. In Euclidean signature these are computed by the partition function of gravity coupled to matter semi ...

Superconformal index for N=3 ADEˆ Chern-Simons quiver gauge theories

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2022
We compute superconformal indices for N=3 ADEˆ Chern-Simons quiver gauge theories with a product gauge group ∏iU(N)i, using the method of supersymmetric localization. We also perform a large N analysis of the index.

Holographic Chern–Simons Theories [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Chern-Simons theories in three dimensions are topological field theories that may have a holographic interpretation for suitable chosen gauge groups and boundary conditions on the fields. Conformal Chern-Simons gravity is a topological model of 3-dimensional gravity that exhibits Weyl invariance and allows various holographic descriptions, including ...
