Induced breeding of knife fish, Notopterus notopterus, using pituitary gland extract, human chorionic gonadotropin, and luteinizing hormone releasing hormone‐analog hormones

Abstract This study was performed to determine the efficiency of various hormones on the ovulation of knife fish, Notopterus notopterus, in captivity. In total, 81 fish were grouped into nine treatments with three replicates, maintaining the sex ratio 1:2 (male to female).

Citizen science reveals host‐switching in louse flies and keds (Diptera: Hippoboscidae) during a period of anthropogenic change
