Magnetic‐Field Control of Surface States in CoFe2O4 Thin Films for Nitrate Electroreduction to Ammonia

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Magnetic‐field‐assisted CVD of heterometallic single‐source precursors modulates thin‐film surface electronic structure and interfacial charge transfer. Field‐grown (Cobalt ferrite‐1T)CF‐1T films exhibit stabilized electronic states, lower kinetic barriers, and markedly enhanced nitrate‐to‐ammonia electrocatalysis versus (Cobalt ferrite‐0T) CF‐0T ...

CHILLING REQUIREMENTS OF PLUM AND APRICOT CULTIVARS DURING THE DORMANCY PERIOD

open access: yesVědecké Práce Ovocnářské
This study evaluates the endodormancy requirements of a selected of apricot and plum cultivars under the environmental conditions of Holovousy. Between 2023 and 2026, 23 apricot genotypes were tested, followed by 26 plum genotypes evaluated. The Chilling

Effect of Chilling and Accumulative Photo-Thermal Units on Flowering of Strawberry (Fragaria × ananassa Duch.)

open access: yesJournal of Horticultural Research, 2018
The influence of chilling period hours and accumulative photo-thermal unit at different base temperatures, 10, 11, 13, 15, and 18 °C, on the flowering of strawberry was examined in Sana’a University-Yemen during two seasons: 2006 and 2007. The randomized

A Statistical Method of Determining Chill Unit and Growing Degree Hour Requirements for Deciduous Fruit Trees1

open access: yesHortScience, 1977
Abstract Dates of rest completion are rarely available for determining the chill unit and growing degree hour requirements of deciduous fruit trees. A statistical process has been developed which permits these constants to be determined from temperature data and dates of full bloom.

Evaluation of chilling requirements for six Arkansas blackberry cultivars utilizing stem cuttings

open access: yes, 2001
Woody perennial plants including blackberries (Rubus subgenus Rubus) require certain amounts of chilling or rest hours below 7ºC during the dormant season for successful bud break the following year.

Chilling hours in Rio Grande do Sul State, Brazil

open access: yes, 2005

Chilling Hour Requirement for Flower Bud Expansion of Two Rabbiteye and One Highbush Blueberry Shoots

open access: yesHortScience, 1987
Abstract Three hundred shoots with flower buds were collected from three blueberry types to determine the influence of chilling hours on flower bud expansion. The three types were rabbiteye blueberry ( Vaccinium ashei Reade ) ‘Brightwell’ and clone T-110, and low-chill ...

A Holistic Stabilization of the Anode in Lithium‐Sulfur Batteries Through a Ternary Alloy Fusion

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
LiTeAl anodes fabricated through a scalable thermal fusion technique holistically addresses the stability issues faced by lithium‐metal anodes in lithium–sulfur batteries. Aluminum forming a skeletal network with lithium suppresses dendrite growth and enhances energy density, while tellurium forming a robust SEI facilitates Li+‐ion flow.
