An analytical method for prohexadione in Chinese cabbage and apple
Biomedical Chromatography, 2011AbstractA residual determination method as a regulatory residue method was developed using HPLC‐UVD for prohexadione residues in Chinese cabbage (Brassica pekinensis) and apple (Malus domestica). The developed method consisted of solid–liquid extraction with acidic acetonitrile and ion‐suppression liquid–liquid partitioning, followed by anion exchange ...

RNA-dependent RNA polymerase in Chinese cabbage
Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (BBA) - Nucleic Acids and Protein Synthesis, 1971Abstract An RNA-dependent RNA polymerase which incorporates nucleotides from ribonucleoside triphosphates into an acid-insoluble polymer has been purified from the chloroplastic fraction of Chinese cabbage leaves. 1. 1. Addition of RNA template is required for enzymatic activity; the synthetic polynucleotide poly (U, C) and TYMV-RNA are among the

Insecticide Residues in Head Lettuce, Cabbage, Chinese Cabbage, and Broccoli Grown in Fields
Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 2014The residues of four insecticides belonging to different families were studied on head lettuce (Lactuca sativa L. var. capitata L.), cabbage (Brassica oleracea Linn. var. capitata DC.), Chinese cabbage (Brassica pekinensis Skeels), and broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. italica) after pesticide application.

Advances in Engineering Technology Research
In response to the problems encountered during the transplanting of Chinese cabbage seedlings, a Chinese cabbage transplanter suitable for farmers has been designed and produced. The main functions of the Chinese cabbage transplanter include seedling transportation, seedling delivery, and seedling planting.

Effect of Chinese cabbage residue on mungbean
Plant and Soil, 1981Decomposing debris of Chinese cabbage was found to be harmful to a following mungbean crop grown in the greenhouse. Aqueous or methanolic extracts of decomposing Chinese cabbage residues in soil inhibited the seed germination of mungbean, and the growth of mungbean seedlings. The same effect was observed when mungbean was grown in soil in which Chinese

Chinese cabbage (Brassica Pe-tsai Bailey) was introduced into America about 35 years ago and to-day it is one of the closest rivals of our head lettuce. Fairchild* has pointed out the advantage of Chinese "petsai" over head lettuce as follows: 1. The cost of production is reduced one-half. 2. It can be grown throughout the country. 3.

Cabbage Maggot Control on Chinese Cabbage, Japanese Radish, and Turnip, 1979
Insecticide and Acaricide Tests, 1981Abstract The tests were conducted at Yakima, WA, in Ritzville sandy loam soil (coarse, silty, mesic, Calciorfhidic Haploxerolls) with a pH of 6.2 and containing 1.6% organic matter. Seeds were planted on Aug 6 in plots consisting of 2 rows (55.9 cm apart x 6.1 m long). Plots were separated by 0.91 m alleys. Interplant spacing of Japanese
