Variations in Somatic Hybrid Plants between Cabbage and Chinese Cabbage.
Plant tissue culture letters, 1993 キャベツとハクサイの細胞融合により得られた8個体の体細胞雑種について, 外部形態, 染色体数, 花粉稔性および自家受粉による種子の稔実率を調査したところ, 雑種個体間で変異があることが認められた. 雑種には正常な形態を示す複二倍体のほかに, 高次倍数体や奇形葉を伴う異数体が含まれていた. 異数体を除いて, 雑種個体は高い花粉稔性を示し, 自家受粉により発芽能力のある種子が多数得られた.酸性フォスファターゼのアイソザイム分析では, 体細胞雑種個体間での差がほとんど認められなかったが, ロイシンアミノペプチダーゼでは, 1個体だけバンドパターンの異なるものが検出された. リボゾームDNAおよびミトコンドリアDNAに関しても, 雑種個体間で変異がいくつかみられた.
