cDNA-AFLP analysis on bolting or flowering of flowering Chinese cabbage and molecular characteristics of BrcuDFR-like/BrcuAXS gene

Molecular Biology Reports, 2012
The molecular basis of flower bud differentiation in flowering Chinese cabbage (Brassica rapa L. ssp. Chinensis var. utilis Tsen et Lee) was studied in this work. Samples were taken from two varieties, the early-blooming "Youqin 49" and the late-blooming "Youqingtiancaixin 80", at five different developmental stages and studied ...

Intraspecific variability of ciprofloxacin accumulation, tolerance, and metabolism in Chinese flowering cabbage (Brassica parachinensis)

Journal of Hazardous Materials, 2018
To investigate the mechanism of genotype differences in ciprofloxacin (CIP) accumulation, this study was designed to compare the tolerance and metabolic responses to CIP exposure between low (Cutai) and high (Sijiu) CIP-accumulation cultivars of Brassica parachinensis. Decreases in biomass and chlorophyll content were significantly greater (p

Effects of Microplastics on Endophytes in Different Niches of Chinese Flowering Cabbage (Brassica campestris)

Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry
Microplastics (MPs) are present in soil as emerging contaminants and pose a threat to soil as well as plants. Here, the effects of MPs on Chinese flowering cabbage from a microbiology perspective were explored. MP size and concentration significantly affected endophytic communities of plant root and petiole (p < 0.05).
