Polymorphisms at the TNF locus in chinese han population
Human Immunology, 2002One hundred sixty-four unrelated healthy individuals from Chinese Han population were investigated in order to define the distribution of eight polymorphic loci within the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) gene cluster and determine their relationship between the high polymorphic microsatellite TNFa, b, d, and other elements.

Skin Reflectance in the Han Chinese and Tibetan Populations
Human Biology, 2001Genetic and environmental factors are involved in the determination of skin pigmentation in humans. With the recent development of statistical and genetic tools in mapping complex traits in humans, it is becoming feasible to utilize such methods in identifying genes involved in skin pigmentation.

HLA polymorphisms in a Han Chinese population of Sichuan
Tissue Antigens, 1985This study reports the phenotype frequencies (PF) and gene frequencies (GF) of a homogeneous Sichuan Han Chinese population by typing of unrelated 229 individuals and 16 families for HLA‐A, B, C., DR and DQ antigens. The frequencies of Bw67, Bw71, DRwl2, DRwl3 and DRwl4 are the first to be reported in Chinese.

Distribution of MICA haplotypes in a Chinese Han population
Human Immunology, 2012The MICA gene encodes nonclassical major histocompatibility complex class I molecules, centromeric to HLA-B and telomeric to HLA-DRB1. The MICA genes are polymorphic. The immune response against MICA may correlate with a decrease in graft survival after transplantation.

Biological age models based on a healthy Han Chinese population
Archives of Gerontology and Geriatrics, 2023Biological age (BA) may reflect the actual aging state in humans better than chronological age (CA). The study aimed to construct BA models suitable for the Chinese Han population by selecting appropriate aging markers and evaluation methods.A total of 1207 individuals (21∼91 years) from the Han Chinese population in Beijing were examined for essential

Developmental regulation of CYP3A4 and CYP3A7 in Chinese Han population.
Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics, 2016CYP3A4 and CYP3A7 are generally served as the major adult and fetal liver forms, respectively, and exhibited a developmental switch during liver maturation. The objective of this study was to explore the potential mechanisms associated with the developmental switch of CYP3A4 and CYP3A7 in the Chinese Han population.

Study on preparation of universal plasma in Chinese Han population
Transfusion and Apheresis Science, 2012Universal plasma proves its importance in emergency situations where it simplifies the logistics by eliminating the need for ABO-match. There are now two available products of ABO-universal plasma internationally. Such product is not available in China yet.
