On the amplitudes for the CP-conserving K ±(K S ) → π ±(π 0)ℓ + ℓ − rare decay modes
The amplitudes for the rare decay modes K ± → π ± ℓ + ℓ − and K S → π 0 ℓ +ℓ− are studied with the aim of obtaining predictions for them, such as to enable the possibility to search for violations of lepton-flavour universality in the kaon sector.

On the off-shell superfield Lagrangian formulation of 4D, N=1 supersymmetric infinite spin theory
We develop a complete off-shell Lagrangian description of the free 4D,N=1 supersymmetric theory of infinite spin. Bosonic and fermionic fields are formulated in terms of spin-tensor fields with dotted and undotted indices.

The lagrangian formulation of chiral scalars
Abstract The lagrangian proposed by Siegel describing left- or right-moving scalars in two dimensions is analysed. The existence of anomalies is pointed out and a modification of the lagrangian leading to the elimination of anomalies is proposed. The generalization for chiral scalars defined on an arbitrary Riemann surface is discussed.

On QCD predictions for the chiral Lagrangian coefficients [PDF]
Based on a previous study of deriving the chiral Lagrangian (CL) from QCD, we illustrate the main feature of QCD predictions for the CL coefficients (CLC) in certain approximations. We first show that, in the large-N(c) limit, the anomaly part contributions to the CLC are exactly cancelled by certain terms in the normal part contributions (NPC), so ...

Lifshitz fermionic theories with z=2 anisotropic scaling
We construct fermionic Lagrangians with anisotropic scaling z=2, the natural counterpart of the usual z=2 Lifshitz field theories for scalar fields. We analyze the issue of chiral symmetry, construct the Noether axial currents and discuss the chiral ...

Chiral nonperturvative approach to the isoscalar s-wave pion-pion interaction in a nuclear medium [PDF]
The s-wave isoscalar amplitude for pion-pion scattering in a nuclear medium is evaluated using a nonperturbative unitary coupled channels method and the standard chiral Lagrangians. The method has proved successful to describe the pion-pion properties in

Holography and chiral Lagrangian [PDF]
In a wide class of holographic models described by the Yang-Mills and Chern-Simons terms, we derive all the ${\cal O}(p^6)$ Chiral Perturbation Theory low-energy constants. Various model-independent relations exist among the constants up to this order, generalizing the previously found relations at $p^4$ order. Some of them can be extended to relations

Topological susceptibility and QCD axion mass: QED and NNLO corrections
We improve the precision of the topological susceptibility of QCD, and therefore of the QCD axion mass, by including O(α em) and NNLO corrections in the chiral expansion, which amount to 0.65(21)% and -0.71(29)% respectively.

Chiral effective lagrangians may differ in their prediction of meson-nucleon scattering amplitudes off-meson-mass-shell, but must yield identical S-matrix elements.
