Aspects of chiral symmetry and the lattice [PDF]
I explore the non-perturbative issues entwining lattice gauge theory, anomalies, and chiral symmetry. After briefly reviewing the importance of chiral symmetry in particle physics, I discuss how anomalies complicate lattice formulations. Considerable information can be deduced from effective chiral Lagrangians, helping interpret the expectations for ...

Reconfigurable Three‐Dimensional Superconducting Nanoarchitectures
3D superconducting nanostructures offer new possibilities for emergent physical phenomena. However, fabricating complex geometries remains challenging. Here 3D nanoprinting of complex 3D superconducting nanoarchitectures is established. As well as propagating superconducting vortices in 3D, anisotropic superconducting properties with geometric ...

Solving the strong CP problem with massless grand-color quarks
We propose a solution to the strong CP problem that specifically relies on massless quarks and has no light axion. The QCD color group SU(3) c is embedded into a larger, simple gauge group (grand-color) where one of the massless, colored fermions enjoys ...

Cluster-assembled superatomic crystals for chirality-dependent charge-to-spin conversion
In chiral materials, spins and chirality are coupled via spin-orbit interaction, provoking a fast-growing field of chiral spintronics. Compared with the widely explored chiral molecules, exploration of chirality-dependent spin effects in crystals and ...

Chiral symmetry breaking in continuum QCD [PDF]
We present a quantitative analysis of chiral symmetry breaking in two-flavour continuum QCD in the quenched limit. The theory is set-up at perturbative momenta, where asymptotic freedom leads to precise results.

The SERS spectra of reporter molecules adsorbed on chiral gold nanorods depends on the handedness of circularly polarized light (CPL‐SERS). The bisignate plasmonic CD spectra of chiral nanorods provides wavelength‐dependent CPL‐SERS. Selective discrimination of chiral nanorod handedness and different Raman reporters allow highly sensitive codification ...

Double Helical Plasmonic Antennas
Plasmonic double helical antennas funnel circularly polarized light to the nanoscale, offering strong chiroptical interaction and directional light emission. Extending a single helix design tool, this study combines numerical modeling with experimental validation, revealing large, broadband dissymmetry factors in the visible range.

Unusual magnetoresistance in cubic B20 Fe0.85Co0.15Si chiral magnets
The B20 chiral magnets with broken inversion symmetry and C _4 rotation symmetry have attracted much attention. The broken inversion symmetry leads to the Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya that gives rise to the helical and Skyrmion states.

Chiral symmetry in lattice QCD [PDF]
A chiral invariant effective action for lattice QCD is proposed. Its connection to the multifermion model is established. A possibility of using this action for computer simulations is discussed.

Cu2O/Cu Chiral Catalysts for Highly Selective Solar‐Assisted CO2‐to‐CO Electroreduction
To address the poor target‐product selectivity of the eCO2RR, breakthrough approaches based on the chiral‐induced spin selectivity phenomenon enhance the Faradaic efficiency (FE) for target hydrocarbons, such as CO. To induce this spin polarization strategy in Cu2O/Cu catalysts, it is proposed using amine‐based intermediate organic molecules with ...
