Weyl Fermion Manipulation Through Magnetic Transitions in the Ferromagnetic Non‐Centrosymmetric Weyl Semimetal PrAlSi

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
During the ferromagnetic phase transition in inversion‐symmetry broken PrAlSi, both the energy/momentum positions and the number of Weyl points can be altered. These modifications induce a net chirality charge and affect the optical conductivity, positioning PrAlSi as a model system for controlling topological states through intrinsic magnetism ...

Light‐Driven Ratchet Mechanism Accelerates Regioselective Metal‐Cation Exchange in a Heterobimetallic Helicate

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Photoswitchable homo‐ and heterobimetallic helicates form with high diastereo‐ and regioselectivity via single‐step self‐assembly or self‐sorting. White‐light exposure autonomously operates one helicate as a molecular ratchet, promoting the selective formation of an out‐of‐equilibrium structure.

Advancing Energy Materials by In Situ Atomic Scale Methods

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, Volume 15, Issue 11, March 18, 2025.
Progress in in situ atomic scale methods leads to an improved understanding of new and advanced energy materials, where a local understanding of complex, inhomogeneous systems or interfaces down to the atomic scale and quantum level is required. Topics from photovoltaics, dissipation losses, phase transitions, and chemical energy conversion are ...

Metal‐Organic Open‐Framework Molecular Magnet Based on Vanadium Hexacyanoferrate Prussian Blue Analogs as Cathode Material for Advanced Potassium Ion Aqueous Battery

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, EarlyView.
An aqueous potassium‐ion battery using vanadium hexacyanoferrate (VHCF) as the cathode and graphite as the anode is presented. During charge/discharge, K+ ions shuttle between electrodes through the electrolyte, enabling energy storage. The VHCF material demonstrates high capacity (≈121 mAh g−1), fast kinetics, and eco‐friendliness, making it a ...

A Multistate Adaptive System of Topologically Distinct Chiral Assemblies

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
This article presents a non‐covalent multistate system with seven distinct assembly products across solid and liquid states, generated from a single supramolecular synthon. Thermodynamic pathways between these states are switchable with simple external triggers.

3D Locomotion of Surface‐Rolling Microrobots: A Trade‐off between Hydrodynamic Wall and Gravitational Effects

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This study investigates 3D locomotion of surface‐rolling microrobots, revealing a trade‐off between hydrodynamic wall effects and gravity. Through experiments and simulations, it explores how robot size, inclination angle, actuation frequency, and surface microtopography affect the 3D locomotion.

Backbone Protecting Groups for Enhanced Peptide and Protein Synthesis

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
This review provides a comprehensive account of the use of backbone N‐protecting groups in peptide synthesis. It includes detailed synthetic methods relating to their introduction and removal and their application to “difficult” peptides and proteins of biological significance in both academic and industry contexts.
