Chirally locked and dynamic bis-perylene diimide macrocycles with multiple sources of chirality [PDF]
Chiral organic materials show great promise in optoelectronics, sensing and catalysis. Among those, macrocycles are of great interest due to their preorganisation and potential amplification of chiroptical properties.

The external fermion propagator and the internal fermion propagator in the overlap are given by different matrices. A generic problem (formulated by Pelissetto) faced by all chiral, non-local, propagators of Rebbi type is avoided in this manner. Nussinov-

Use of a new micropattern tape method to detect chirality shifts in differentiating C2C12 cells. [PDF]
Chirality is an intrinsic property of cells manifested as left-right (LR) asymmetry in terms of cellular morphology and organization, which influences cell behavior, migration, and tissue development.

There has been a great focus on halogen-bonding as a unique interaction between electron-deficient halogen atoms with Lewis basic moieties. Although the application of halogen-bonded atoms in organic chemistry has been eagerly researched in these decades,

Development of a novel light-up probe for detection of G-quadruplexes in stress granules
G-quadruplexes (G4s) regulate various biological processes in cells. However, cellular imaging of dynamically forming G4s in biomolecular condensates using small molecules has been poorly investigated. Herein, we present a fluorescent light-up probe with

Molecular chirality and chiral parameters [PDF]
The fundamental issues of symmetry related to chirality are discussed and applied to simple situations relevant to liquid crystals. We show that any chiral measure of a geometric object is a pseudoscalar (invariant under proper rotations but changing sign under improper rotations) and must involve three-point correlations which only come into play when

Chiral Photons from Chiral Gravitational Waves [PDF]
We show that a parity-breaking uniform (averaged over all directions on the sky) circular polarization of amplitude $V_{00} \simeq 2.6 \times 10^{-17}\, (r/0.06)$ can be induced by chiral gravitational-wave (GW) background with tensor-to-scalar ratio $r$ and chirality parameter $ $ (which is $\pm1$ for a maximally chiral background).
