Fabrication process of phase change microcapsules using a Pickering emulsion template method and their subsequent applications. The increasing demand for efficient thermal energy storage systems has driven the development of phase change material microcapsules (PCMMs), which provide high energy‐storage density, reversible phase change, and reduced ...

A polyphasic approach to the study of chitinolytic bacteria in soil [PDF]
Chitin is the most abundant nitrogen-containing polymer in nature, with >1x10^10 tonnes produced annually in terrestrial and marine habitats. Chitinolytic bacteria are able to degrade this recalcitrant substrate through a multiplicity of chitinases.

Chitin nanofiber alignment: optical and quantitative analysis [PDF]
Polymers are an important material in modern life. Most of our modern world is made of polymeric materials. When we think of polymers, the synthetic plastics we use on a regular basis typically come to mind, but not all polymers are synthetics.

From hydrogels to eutectogels: Emerging platforms for stretchable electronics
The transition of wearable electronics toward long‐term reliability requires materials that resist dehydration without sacrificing tissue‐like softness and ionic conductivity. Eutectogels fulfill these demands by immobilizing deep eutectic solvents within tailored polymer networks.
