The role of imazaquin in the absorption, translocation, and distribution of chlormequat chloride in CYCOCEL* CL has been studied in winter wheat. Three treatments were applied to the 5th leaf of the main stem at growth stage 5 (Feekes Large scale): (1)14C-chlormequat chloride, (2) CYCOCEL* CL containing14C-chlormequat chloride, and (3) CYCOCEL* CL ...

Modification of water balance of dryland wheat through the use of chlormequat chloride
The Journal of Agricultural Science, 1982SUMMARYIn field trials made for two years in the dry period of a semi-arid tract under natural precipitation at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, overnight seed-soaking of wheat in 0·5% solution of 2-chloro-ethyl-trimethyl ammonium chloride (CCC) prior to sowing increased the grain yield. When treated with foliar application of the

Influence of thigmic stress or chlormequat chloride on tomato morphology and elemental uptake
Journal of Plant Nutrition, 1987Abstract Root dry weight and leaf number were not affected by thigmic stress or chlormequat chloride. Shoot dry weight, shoot:root dry weight ratio, shoot height, leaf area, and root surface area were decreased by both thigmic stress and chlormequat chloride.

Chlormequat Chloride Effects on Seed Germination of Vicia faba at Different Temperatures
Biochemie und Physiologie der Pflanzen, 1971Summary Vicia faba seeds treated with CCC and germinated under different temperatures showed different responses on germination rate, germination percentage as well as radicle and plumule lengths. CCC exhibited a stimulating effect on germination and plumule lenght at 10 °C.

Ion-pair reagent was used as mobile phase for the simultaneous separation of chlormequat chloride and mepiquat chloride in plants. The rapid separation was performed on a Dionex IonPac NG1 guard column and a Dionex IonPac NS1 analytical column using 1.0 mL/min of the eluent mixture of 1.00 mmol/L nonafluoropentanoic acid (as ion-pair reagent) and 7 ...
