Distribution and molecular relatedness of pSS50-homologous plasmids in bacterial environmental isolates [PDF]
The 51 kilobase plasmid pSS50, a broad host range IncP1 plasmid from Alcaligenes eutrophus A5, a 4-chlorobiphenyl (4-CBP)-degrading organism isolated from lake sediment, has been used as a probe in colony hybridization of lakewater microcosms and soil ...

Metal‐Free Ammonia Borane‐Catalyzed Hydroboration of Lactones and Esters to Alcohols
Ammonia borane (NH3BH3) serves as an easy‐to‐handle and efficient pre‐catalyst for the hydroborative cleavage of lactones and esters with HBPin (Pin=pinacol). The reactions proceed under mild conditions, do not require any additional external stimuli, can be performed under solvent‐free conditions in air.

Hydrogen-bonding patterns in pyrimethaminium 3-chlorobenzoate
In the crystal structure of the title compound, 2,4-diamino-5-(4-chlorophenyl)-6-ethylpyrimidin-1-ium 3-chlorobenzoate, C12H14ClN4+·C7H4ClO2−, the cation interacts with the carboxylate group of the anion through a pair of N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming a cyclic hydrogen-bonded motif [graph-set notation R22(8)].
