Role of Testosterone Signaling in Microglia: A Potential Role for Sex‐Related Differences in Alzheimer's Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Testosterone enhances Aβ‐induced autophagy in microglia via the non‐genomic testosterone receptor GPRC6A, promoting Aβ clearance by suppressing ERK phosphorylation and inhibiting mTOR activation. In male 5xFAD mice, testicular removal reduces microglial autophagy and Aβ clearance, which is restored by testosterone.

Serrated Leaf‐Like N‐Doped Copper Sulfide Enabling Bifunctional Oxygen Reduction/Evolution via Dual‐Mode Cathode Reactions for High Energy Density and Cycle Stability in Zinc–Air Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A serrated leaf‐like nitrogen‐doped copper sulfide (N‐CuS) cathode with hybridized N 2p – S 3p orbitals is presented, mesopores for oxygen transport, and a five times larger electrochemical active surface area than Cu. In aerobic conditions, a zinc–air battery with N‐CuS achieves 788 mAh g⁻¹ and 916 Wh kg⁻¹, outperforming Pt/C+RuO₂.

Ultrasound‐Assisted H2 Transmitter Enables Hydrogen‐Gene Therapy to Prevent Anesthesia/Surgery‐Induced Cognitive Impairment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Postoperative cognitive dysfunction (POCD) remains a challenge with no effective treatments. This study introduces a novel hydrogen‐gene therapy strategy, combining focused ultrasound and siRNA delivery via hydrogen emitters, to repair neuroinflammation in a precise and controlled manner.

TRIM25‐Mediated INSIG1 Ubiquitination Promotes MASH Progression Through Reprogramming Lipid Metabolism

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
TRIM25‐mediated ubiquitination of INSIG1 serves as a key driver of lipid metabolism dysregulation in MASH progression. It identifies a novel small‐molecule inhibitor, C27H26N2O4S, which effectively inhibits TRIM25 activity, reducing lipid accumulation and inflammation.

Minimizing Energy Loss by Designing Multifunctional Solid Additives to Independent Regulation of Donor and Acceptor Layers for Efficient LBL Polymer Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The simultaneous incorporation of multifunctional solid additives into both D18 and L8‐BO layers can not only effectively enhance the crystallinity and molecular stacking of D18, but also form an appropriate phase separation morphology, which will reduce ΔE2 and ΔE3 and achieve an excellent power conversion efficiency of 19.95% in layer‐by‐layer ...
