A comparative study to estimate three commercial products of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) on blood biochemistry, sexual hormones concentrations, reproductive indices, and larvae production of African catfish Clarias gariepinus brood-stock

open access: yesItalian Journal of Animal Science
Currently, almost all hatcheries that produce catfish seeds depend on hormone stimulations, application of human chorionic gonadotropin hormone (hCG) is considered the common method for commercial spawning of African catfish Clarias gariepinus ...

Salidroside Improves Oocyte Competence of Reproductively Old Mice by Enhancing Mitophagy

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 24, Issue 5, May 2025.
Salidroside improves oocyte competence by enhancing mitophagy. Aging impairs mitophagy in oocytes, which leads to mitochondrial dysfunction. Salidroside restores mitochondrial homeostasis, reduces ROS levels, and improves oocyte developmental competence.

Aging‐Associated Vacuolation of Multi‐Ciliated Cells in the Distal Mouse Oviduct Reflects Unique Cell Identity and Luminal Microenvironment

open access: yesAging Cell, EarlyView.
Multi‐ciliated cells in the infundibulum and ampulla (INF/AMP) epithelium are vacuolated in aging. Unique cellular susceptibility of the INF/AMP epithelial population and aging‐associated decline in ovarian artery circulation, which supports the ovary and INF/AMP, contribute to this region‐specific vacuolation phenotype, as a consequence of a mildly ...

The Survey of Angiogenesis and Myometrial Thickness of Preimplantation Mouse Uterine in Natural Cycle in those Received Human Menopausal Gonadotropin-Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HMG–HCG) and Sildenafil Citrate

open access: yesمجله دانشکده پزشکی اصفهان, 2017
Background: Uterus myometrium contractions play crucial role in break or successful embryo implantation. Furthermore, efficient myometrial angiogenesis is important event for supplying endometrium blood.

Non–surgical management of abdominal ectopic pregnancy with uterine artery embolization

open access: yesRadiology Case Reports, 2022
Abdominal pregnancy is a rare but life-threatening variation of ectopic pregnancy that is often treated with laparoscopic management; however, we present a case successfully treated using only minimally invasive techniques. A 36-year-old female G1P0 with

The Effect of Assisted Reproductive Technologies on Human Sex Ratios

open access: yesAustralian and New Zealand Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Modern assisted reproductive technology (ART), including pre‐implantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT‐A), has opened new avenues in understanding early embryonic events and has simultaneously raised questions about the impact of ART itself on sex ratios.
