Flexibility and Dynamicity Enhances and Controls Supramolecular Self‐Assembly of Zinc(II) Metallogels

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Zinc(II) coordination complexes with tunable aryloxy‐imine ligands exhibit controllable supramolecular self‐assembly into hierarchical fibrous structures. Coordination‐driven stacking, not π–π interactions, enables gelation, dynamic assembly/disassembly, and enhanced nanomechanical properties.

Wavelength‐Dependent 3D Printing: Introducing 3D Printed Action Plots

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Photochemical action plots – wavelength‐dependent reactivity studies of photoactive molecules – can show a significant mismatch between the peak of photochemical action and maximum absorbance in photopolymerization systems in solution. How this knowledge translates to photocuring in light‐driven 3D printing remains unexplored.

The Structure That Structures Us

open access: yesUrban Planning, 2023
Christopher Alexander explored the world of built structures. He longed for buildings and spaces that touched and triggered our own psychological and spiritual structure.

Examples of Non-Rigid CAT(0) Groups from the Category of Knot Groups

open access: yes, 2008
C Croke and B Kleiner have constructed an example of a CAT(0) group with more than one visual boundary. J Wilson has proven that this same group has uncountably many distinct boundaries.

Structural Modulation of Charge Transfer in Donor–Acceptor Systems: Effects of Donor Type and Connectivity

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
A coherent phthalimide acceptor platform with planar (Cz—carbazole) and spiro‐type (SAF—spiroacridine fluorene) donors enables systematic tuning of donor geometry and coupling, driving the evolution of excited‐state topology from classical CT‐TADF and fluorescence/RTP to CT‐driven and LE‐assisted TADF with OLED efficiencies ≈ 36%.

Efficacy and Safety of Subcutaneous Efgartigimod PH20 in Adults With Primary Immune Thrombocytopenia (ADVANCE SC): A Multicenter, Randomized, Double‐Blinded, Placebo‐Controlled, Phase 3 Trial

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Hematology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Primary autoimmune thrombocytopenia (ITP) is characterized by thrombocytopenia, bleeding, and reduced health‐related quality of life. In the Phase 3 ADVANCE IV study, intravenous efgartigimod induced significant platelet count responses versus placebo in patients with chronic ITP. ADVANCE SC, a Phase 3, multicenter, randomized, double‐blinded,

Capturing a community’s vision as a pattern language: Case study of the Mooiplaas community in Great Kei Municipality, South Africa

open access: yesTown and Regional Planning, 2020
Existing tools for capturing a community’s vision during a spatial planning and land-use management exercise often do not adequately articulate a community’s vision in an inspiring way and in a way that planners and the community are able to communicate ...

Pair symmetry conversion in driven multiband superconductors

open access: yes, 2017
It was recently shown that odd-frequency superconducting pair amplitudes can be induced in conventional superconductors subjected to a spatially-nonuniform time-dependent drive.

The divided brain and ways of building the world: parallels in the thought of Iain McGilchrist and Christopher Alexander

open access: yesJournal of Architecture and Urbanism, 2023
What might have led to the fundamental changes in the built environment during the 20th century? While factors such as postwar reconstruction, urbanization, industrialization, shifts in style, or socio-political changes are surely involved, there may be
