Optical isomer separation of single-chirality carbon nanotubes using gel column chromatography.

Nano letters (Print), 2014
We report a gel column chromatography method for easily separating the optical isomers (i.e., left- and right-handed structures) of single-chirality carbon nanotubes.

Studies on Protein in Royal Jelly 2. Fractionation of Water-Soluble Protein by Deae-Cellulose Chromatography, Gel Filtration and Disc Electrophoresis

, 1977
SummaryTwo major protein fractions in the water-soluble part of royal jelly had rather low molecular weights, about 1·4 × 104 and 3·3·104, when compared with pure enzymes by Sephadex gel filtration.

High-efficiency single-chirality separation of carbon nanotubes using temperature-controlled gel chromatography.

Nano letters (Print), 2013
We report the use of temperature-controlled gel chromatography for the high-efficiency single-chirality separation of single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs).

A simple and universal gel permeation chromatography technique for precise molecular weight characterization of well-defined poly(ionic liquid)s.

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2013
Poly(ionic liquid)s (PILs) are an important class of technologically relevant materials. However, characterization of well-defined polyionic materials remains a challenge.

Resins and gels for chromatography

Journal of Chromatography A, 1970
Abstract Ion exchangers and gels for chromatography synthesized by the authors are decribed. Resins and gels for chromatography have been prepared based on copolymers of styrene and p - or m divinylbenzene. They are characterized by their high purity, homogeneity of granular composition, high mechanical strength and stability, and the ...

Gel chromatography of carbohydrates on polysaccharide gel

Journal of Polymer Science: Polymer Symposia, 1980
AbstractLiquid chromatographies of high and low‐molecular carbohydrates and polyethyleneglycols of different molecular masses were studied on porous microspherical cellulose. Dependence of the distribution coefficients of polymer molecules on molecular mass was determined.

Gel matrices for scanning gel chromatography

Biophysical Chemistry, 1979
I have examined the light-scattering behavior of a number of gel matrices used in gel filtration chromatography. The angular dependence of light scattering by Sephadexes is consistent with treatment of the particles as large scattering particles with a low refractive index increment (mu).

Fluorinated gels for gel permeation chromatography

Die Makromolekulare Chemie, 1993
AbstractThe aim of these investigations was the development of stationary phases for GPC compatible with fluorinated solvents. The properties of crosslinked copolymers of 4‐(2‐heptafluoropropoxy‐1, 2,2‐trifluoroethoxy)styrene (1) were investigated in dependence of the mode of synthesis. Divinylbenzene (DVB) was used as crosslinking agent.

Gel diffusion chromatography of dextran

Journal of Chromatography A, 1962
Abstract Glucose and dextrans of molecular weight 5,000 to 300,000 can be partially separated chromatographically on columns of agar (6–9 %) with buffer (pH 8.0) or water as eluant. Agarose gels (4 %) can also be used with water as eluant. The method can be used to estimate approximately the molecular weight distribution in small samples of clinical ...

Principles of gel chromatography

Journal of Chromatography A, 1970
Abstract The principles of gel chromatography have been examined with regard to general chromatographic theory. It is shown that the elution volume for a solute is solely determined by the partition of a solute between the mobile and stationary phases and that various forms of diffusion only contribute to the width of the peak eluted.
