This study demonstrates that transcription factor androgen receptor (AR) directly binds the LF promoter, driving lactoferrin overexpression to promote ferritin (FTH1/FTL) upregulation and inhibit p53‐ALOX12‐mediated ferroptosis in prostate cancer. Lactoferrin could be a new potential therapeutic target in prostate cancer.

Implications of a Chr7q21.11 Microdeletion and the Role of the PCLO Gene in Developmental Delay
We report here a 4-year-old boy with global developmental delay who was referred for karyotyping and fragile X studies. A small interstitial deletion on chromosome 7 at band 7q21 was detected in all cells examined. Subsequent molecular karyotype analysis

T Cell Exhaustion in Cancer Immunotherapy: Heterogeneity, Mechanisms, and Therapeutic Opportunities
T cell exhaustion limits immunotherapy efficacy. This article delineates its progression from stem‐like to terminally exhausted states, governed by persistent antigen, transcription factors, epigenetics, and metabolism. It maps the exhaustion landscape in the TME and proposes integrated reversal strategies, providing a translational roadmap to overcome

Randall's plaques (RP) serve as the nidus for calcium oxalate (CaOx) kidney stones. The current study reveals that hydroxyapatite (HAP) crystals activate the THY1–GSK3α/β–β‐catenin axis in renal interstitial fibroblasts (hRIFs), inducing FASLG secretion.

A survey of chromosome anomalies in Malta [PDF]
433 individuals referred for chromosome analysis between 1983 and 1987 were included in the survey. Among individuals with dysmorphic features or congenital anomalies 42% of babies referred in the neonatal period and 12 to 30% of individuals in older age

This study demonstrates that iron overload triggers widespread chromatin compaction and transcriptional repression in human granulosa cells, recapitulating features of endometriosis. The epigenetic reprogramming is orchestrated by a TFEB‐SOX4‐SWI/SNF axis, with SOX4 acting as a central, dosage‐sensitive regulator.
