Inhibition of VEGF‐Induced Angiogenesis and Vascular Leakage by Bicistronic Co‐Expression of Aflibercept and COMP‐Ang1

A bicistronic rAAV8 vector encoding Aflibercept (Afb) and COMP‐cAng1 simultaneously coordinates VEGF clearance and Tie2‐mediated vessel maturation. In a 3D angiogenesis‐on‐a‐chip model, rAAV8‐Afb/cAng1 effectively reverses pathological barrier breakdown under clinical disease‐mimicking challenges.

The effect of water extract of Gynostemma pentaphyllum was evaluated on 6-month chronic toxicity in Wistar rats. Control group received orally 10 ml kg(-1) day(-1). The extract was orally given to the five treatment groups at the doses of 6, 30, 150, 750 and 750 mg kg(-1) day(-1) for 24 weeks. The last group served as the recovery group.

Chronic toxicity of cubé

Abstract The effects of feeding cube powder to rats for two years at dietary levels of 50, 100, 250, 500, and 1000 ppm, and to dogs for 28 months at levels of 50, 150, and 400 ppm have been presented. Cube at all levels, except 50 ppm, inhibited growth of rats. No histopathologic change attributable to cube ingestion was noted at any level.
