Magneto‐Electrocatalysis: A Multiscale Perspective on Designing High‐Efficiency Electrocatalysts for Clean Energy

open access: yesBattery Energy, Volume 5, Issue 4, July 2026.
This review presents a multiscale framework for magnetic field‐assisted electrocatalyst synthesis. By synergizing quantum‐scale spin polarization, atomic‐scale force dynamics, and mesoscopic directed assembly, this strategy overcomes conventional design bottlenecks to construct highly efficient, magnetically responsive electrocatalysts for clean energy.

How Parents Support Their Children's Boredom Relates to Dynamics of Neurophysiological Correlates of Self‐Regulation

open access: yesInfant and Child Development, Volume 35, Issue 4, July/August 2026.
ABSTRACT The goal of the study was to gain insight into how children respond to a task designed to induce boredom and whether it relates to trait boredom and how parents approach supporting their children's boredom. Eighty‐three 4‐ to 6‐year‐old children participated (42 female; M = 5.27 years, SD = 0.79 years).

Escaping Chronos: The Metaverse as a Surrogate for Aeon

open access: yesTheology and Science
The Metaverse promises the abolition of physical and temporal boundaries, people achieving what they want freely, and the feeling of immortality. In this paper I analyze the hyper-spatiotemporal nature of the Metaverse from a Christian anthropological perspective.

Deglaciation of the Burren glacio‐karst, western Ireland, during Termination 1: Implications for North Atlantic climate and karstification

open access: yesJournal of Quaternary Science, Volume 41, Issue 5, Page 702-715, July 2026.
ABSTRACT The Burren uplands in western Ireland form one of the most extensive and best‐preserved examples of glacio‐karst in Europe. Subsumed by the Irish ice sheet during the Late Pleistocene, granite erratic boulders and in situ silica veins in the limestone bedrock provide a rare opportunity to reconstruct the timing and rate of deglaciation ...

CRISPR‐Based Gene Dependency Screens Reveal Mechanism of BRAF Inhibitor Resistance in Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer

open access: yesMolecular Carcinogenesis, Volume 65, Issue 7, Page 874-887, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Anaplastic thyroid cancer (ATC) is the most aggressive form of thyroid cancer. Despite recent advances in treating BRAFV600E‐driven ATC, therapy resistance remains a significant challenge, often resulting in disease progression and death.

CRISPR‐Cas9 Genome‐Wide Screening in Paediatric Cancer: Functional Genomics for Target Discovery and the Improvement of Existing Therapies

open access: yesMedicinal Research Reviews, Volume 46, Issue 4, Page 989-1004, July 2026.
ABSTRACT CRISPR‐Cas9 genome‐wide screening has been instrumental towards identifying novel targets for drug discovery in cancer research. However, much of this research has centred specifically on adult cancers, with paediatric cancers being underserviced by current research and screening.

Silver‐Alloyed Wide‐Bandgap (Ag,Cu)(In,Ga)S2 Thin‐Film Solar Cells With 15.5% Efficiency

open access: yesProgress in Photovoltaics: Research and Applications, Volume 34, Issue 7, Page 942-956, July 2026.
This study reports improvements in compositional homogeneity, microstructure, enhanced radiative recombination, and extended carrier lifetime of CIGS absorber via Ag incorporation. The optimal Ag‐alloyed CIGS solar cells achieve 15.5% PCE and 948 mV VOC, competing with the VOC of the Ag‐free reference sample from the same batch.

The Age and Origin of Block Deposits in the Victorian Alps, Australia

open access: yesPermafrost and Periglacial Processes, Volume 37, Issue 3, Page 391-415, July/September 2026.
ABSTRACT Large periglacial block deposits are found in the mountains of southeastern Australia. Despite their widespread distribution, their mode of formation and age are poorly understood. These landforms hold considerable potential to shed light on the nature of cooling during glacial periods. In this paper we present a new study of block deposits in
