Facial Lifting and Skin Rejuvenation Using a Dual‐Wavelength Picosecond Nd:YAG Laser in Asian Skin: A Prospective Pilot Study

open access: yesJournal of Cosmetic Dermatology, Volume 25, Issue 10, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Fractional picosecond lasers promote nonablative skin rejuvenation by inducing dermal remodeling through photomechanical effects. However, prospective clinical evidence regarding dual‐wavelength picosecond Nd:YAG laser systems remains limited. Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of a dual‐wavelength picosecond Nd:YAG laser

Clinical Outcomes of Sequential Long‐Pulsed 1060‐nm and 805‐nm Laser Treatment for Mid‐ and Lower‐Face Aging: A Single‐Arm Prospective Study

open access: yesJournal of Cosmetic Dermatology, Volume 25, Issue 10, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Mid‐ and lower‐face aging involves skin laxity, textural deterioration, and contour changes. Sequential long‐pulsed 1060‐ and 805‐nm laser treatment has been proposed as a noninvasive rejuvenation approach, but evidence regarding its clinical outcomes remains limited.

Efficacy and Safety of 1.5‐ and 3.0‐mm High‐Intensity Focused Ultrasound for Eyebrow Lifting in Korean Adults: A Prospective Randomized Split‐Face Study

open access: yesSkin Research and Technology, Volume 32, Issue 10, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Background High‐intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) is widely used for noninvasive eyebrow lifting, but within‐subject comparisons of cartridge focal depths are scarce. Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of 1.5‐ and 3.0‐mm cartridges for eyebrow lifting in Korean adults, with an exploratory between‐depth comparison.

Aging concomitantly reduces skeletal muscle proteome plasticity and hypertrophic responses to resistance training in male adults

open access: yesPhysiological Reports, Volume 14, Issue 19, October 2026.
We examined the vastus lateralis (VL) muscle proteomic signature in younger and older males before and after a 10–12‐week resistance training period. Despite similar training volumes between age groups, VL hypertrophy (determined via ultrasound) was dampened in older individuals, and this coincided with an attenuated proteome plasticity response.
