Self‐Assembled Gallium Sulfide (GaS) Heterostructures Enabling Efficient Water Splitting and Selective Ammonia Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Gallium sulfide (GaS) forms self‐assembled heterostructures with its native oxide, exhibiting high performance in water splitting and ultrasensitive and selective ammonia detection. Surface defects and controlled oxidation enhance catalytic activity and sensing response.

Enhanced mitochondrial activity reshapes a gut microbiota profile that delays NASH progression

open access: yesHepatology, EarlyView., 2022
Improved mitochondrial activity, due to the lack of methylation‐controlled J protein (MCJ), creates a specific microbiota signature that when transferred through cecal microbiota transplantation delays NASH progression by restoring the gut‐liver axis and enhancing hepatic fatty acid oxidation.

All‐Heat Control of Magnetization Dynamics on Van der Waals Magnets

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Heat dissipation in nanomagnetic devices mediated by femtosecond laser excitation constitutes one of the pressing challenges toward energy‐efficient information communication technologies. Here it is shown that heat and magnetization play together to determine the ultrafast spin dynamics of van der Waals magnets across any substrates and magnet ...

Ciudadanía global y enseñanza de las Ciencias Sociales: retos y posibilidades para el futuro

open access: yesREIDICS. Revista de Investigación en Didáctica de las Ciencias Sociales, 2019
In education, we often get carried away by certain tendencies that believe that changing names changes things. Surely, this works in the markets. It is part of the neoliberal logic that invades us.

Fabrication and Characterization of PEDOT:PSS‐Based Microstructured Electrodes for In Vitro Cell Culture

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene) poly(styrene sulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS)‐based microstructured electrodes are fabricated using vacuum soft lithography as an alternative to conventional methods. This novel fabrication approach enables the production of scalable and cost‐effective bioelectronic devices.

Semiótica, Sociosemiótica y Ciencias Sociales

open access: yesEstudios digital, 2014
