AN INVESTIGATION OF CIGUATERA POISON

Abstract : During the period of this grant an expedition was sent to Wake Island for the purpose of procuring poisonous fishes. Approximately 500 pounds of fish were collected. The moray eels, Oyrnnothorax javanicus, proved to be strongly toxic.
