Nature Plants, 2018
The stem cell niche in plant shoots is maintained by carefully orchestrated feedback between a series of CLAVATA (CLV) receptors and their ligand CLV3, and the transcription factor WUSCHEL. A new clade of co-receptors, CLV3-insensitive receptor kinases (CIKs), provides an important missing link in CLV signalling.

Security Analysis of CIKS-128 and CIKS-128H Using Key Schedule Weaknesses
International Symposium on Computer Science and its Applications, 2008In this paper, we show that CIKS-128 and CIKS-128H are vulnerable to related-key differential attacks. We first describe how to construct their full-round related-key differential characteristics with high probabilities and then we exploit them to break the full-round CIKS-128 and CIKS-128H with 244,and 248 data and time complexities, respectively ...

Related-Key Attacks on DDP Based Ciphers: CIKS-128 and CIKS-128H
2004CIKS-128 and CIKS-128H are 128-bit block ciphers with a 256-bit key sizes based on data-dependent operations, respectively. They are also fast hardware-oriented ciphers and improvements of block cipher CIKS-1 introduced in [14]. This paper presents related-key differential attacks on full-round CIKS-128 and CIKS-128H.

The collective interaction klystron (CIK)
International Electron Devices Meeting 1991 [Technical Digest], 2002The authors describe the fundamental principles of the CIK and summarize the results of an experimental study of a proof-of-principle (POP) version of the device. the CIK is a microwave amplifier which utilizes circular orbit effects to strongly bunch electrons.

A Novel Algorithm for Generating GVKEY-CIK Link Table
SSRN Electronic Journal, 2020ABSTRACT This paper presents a do-it-yourself algorithm to generate the historical GVKEY-CIK link table. The proposed algorithm features a technique of pre-classifying sample data into different treatment subgroups and utilizing historical firm information available from the source data to increase (reduce) matching efficiency (errors ...

Dynamic evolution of CIKS (TRAF3IP2/Act1) in metazoans
Developmental & Comparative Immunology, 2011CIKS (TRAF3IP2/Act1) is important for inflammatory responses and autoimmunity control through its dual functions in CD40L/BAFF and IL17 signaling in mammalians. In this study, we performed comparative and evolutionary analyses of CIKSs from metazoans. Although nematode (Caenorabditis elegans) and sea urchin (Strongylocentrotus purpuratus) have IL17 and

CIK as therapeutic agents against tumors
Journal of Autoimmunity, 2017Cytokine Induced Killer (CIK) cells are ex vivo expanded and activated T lymphocytes obtained by sequential incubation of Peripheral Blood Mononuclear cells (PBMNC) with Interferon γ (IFNG), anti CD3 monoclonal antibody OKT3 and IL2. These cells, while retaining few characteristics of the Effector memory T cells subpopulation, acquired during culture ...

A Tale of NFκB: Act1, Seen CIKS
Science's STKE, 2000Nuclear factor κB is an important transcription factor that regulates immune responses and skin epithelial development. The proteins that activate latent cytoplasmic NF-κB exist in a huge complex of approximately 900 kD. Two new reports have identified and characterized a new protein (termed Act1 or CIKS) that promotes the activation of NF-
