Colored aluminates pigments obtained from metallic aluminum waste, an opportunity in the circular economy

open access: yesCleaner Engineering and Technology, 2021
In order to contribute to sustainability and follow the goals of the circular economy, colored aluminates were prepared using metallic aluminum (discarded tin seal) as a precursor for application as ecofriendly synthetic inorganic pigments.

Circular Average Filtering and Circular Linear Interpolation in Complex Color Spaces

open access: yesCoRR, 2023
In color spaces where the chromatic term is given in polar coordinates, the shortest distance between colors of the same value is circular. By converting such a space into a complex polar form with a real-valued value axis, a color algebra for combining colors is immediately available.

Fractional (P,Q)-Total List Colorings of Graphs

open access: yesDiscussiones Mathematicae Graph Theory, 2013
Let r, s ∈ N, r ≥ s, and P and Q be two additive and hereditary graph properties. A (P,Q)-total (r, s)-coloring of a graph G = (V,E) is a coloring of the vertices and edges of G by s-element subsets of Zr such that for each color i, 0 ≤ i ≤ r − 1, the ...

Color pattern recognition with circular component whitening [PDF]

open access: yesOptics Letters, 1996
Polychromatic object recognition based on circular whitening preprocessing of red-green-blue components and multichannel matched filtering is described. Computer simulations and experimental results are provided to facilitate recognizing a color target among objects of similar shape but with different color contents.

Circular colorings of edge‐weighted graphs [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Graph Theory, 2003
AbstractThe notion of (circular) colorings of edge‐weighted graphs is introduced. This notion generalizes the notion of (circular) colorings of graphs, the channel assignment problem, and several other optimization problems. For instance, its restriction to colorings of weighted complete graphs corresponds to the traveling salesman problem (metric case)

The Locating Chromatic Number of Pentagonal Circular Ladder Graph PCLn

open access: yesInPrime
Locating coloring is a type of vertex coloring applied to connected graphs, where each vertex is assigned a color such that adjacent vertices receive different colors.

Circular and uniquely colorable mixed hypergraphs

open access: yesElectronic Notes in Discrete Mathematics, 2001
A mixed hypergraph is a triple H = (X, C,D), where X is the vertex set, |X| = n, and each of C, D is a family of subsets of X, the C-edges and Dedges, respectively. A proper k-coloring of a mixed hypergraph is a mapping from the vertex set to a set of k colors so that each C-edge has two vertices with a common color and each D-edge has two vertices ...

The secondary glass workshop in the civil town of Brigetio

open access: yesDissertationes Archaeologicae: Ex Instituto Archaeologico Universitatis de Rolando Eötvös Nominatae, 2016
In 2006 the Klapka György Museum of Komárom together with the Institute of Archaeological Sciences at Eötvös Loránd University carried out an excavation in the less researched area of the civil town of Brigetio, at 13 Vásártér, Komárom/Szőny.
