BIM and Circular Design

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science, 2019
Materials passport is a tool to promote circular design. BIM is an essential and powerful tool to create and manage digital information. As such, it can be used for materials passports. Which information is needed and reliable? How can we extract it from a BIM model?

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Stimuli-responsive self-assembly and structural transition of a glycosylated triblock terpolymer: construction of “Sweet” nanoparticles

open access: yesMaterials & Design
Glycosylated nanoparticles, inspired by natural systems, hold great promise for biomedical applications such as targeted drug delivery and biosensing. However, achieving precise control over their self-assembly and responsiveness remains a challenge.

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

Modeling Land-Use Transitions under Conflicting Conservation and Land Tax Policies in Bang Kachao, Thailand

open access: yesEnvironment and Natural Resources Journal
Bang Kachao Subdistrict faces a policy conflict between the 2019 conservation zoning regulation, which mandates at least 25% green cover, and the Land and Buildings Tax Act in 2019, which progressively increases idle land tax rates from 0.5% to 3% within

Circular Design Strategies

open access: yes, 2023
Le istanze della transizione verso gli obiettivi della Nuova strategia industriale europea richiedono un passaggio dalla logica della minimizzazione a quella di modelli rivolu- zionari di consumo e produzione che vanno oltre al concetto di sostenibilità.

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...
