Simulation and performance analysis of plasma switch for microwave amplification in T shaped circular waveguide in the S band [PDF]

open access: yesScientific Reports
In this work, the control and amplification of microwaves in a T-shaped circular waveguide in the S-band using a plasma switch are simulated using Computer Simulation Technology (CST) software and the Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) method.

Attenuation in Superconducting Circular Waveguides [PDF]

open access: yesAdvanced Electromagnetics, 2016
We present an analysis on wave propagation in superconducting circular waveguides. In order to account for the presence of quasiparticles in the intragap states of a superconductor, we employ the characteristic equation derived from the extended Mattis ...

THE TE₀₁ WAVE EXCITATION IN A CIRCULAR WAVEGUIDE USING HIGHER-ORDER MODES OF AN OPEN RESONATOR [PDF]

open access: yesRadio Physics and Radio Astronomy, 2023
Subject and Purpose. Peculiarities of the TE₀₁ wave excitation in a circular waveguide located in the center of the flat mirror of a hemispherical open resonator (OR) are studied using the OR oscillation type TEМ₃₀q and the OR degenerate oscillation type

The Use of Mathematical Finite Element Method to find the Optimum Waves Amplification by a Novel Elliptical Waveguide [PDF]

open access: yesMathematics Interdisciplinary Research, 2021
In this paper, a combinatorial elliptic-circular waveguide is introduced to amplify electromagnetic waves. The cross-section of this waveguide is elliptic and filled by a dielectric material, whereas two axial circular hollows have been created in it ...

Broadband Circularly Polarized Conical Corrugated Horn Antenna Using a Dielectric Circular Polarizer

open access: yesMicromachines, 2022
In this paper, a broadband left-handed circularly polarized (LHCP) corrugated horn antenna using a dielectric circular polarizer is proposed. Circularly polarized (CP) waves are generated by inserting an improved dovetail-shaped dielectric plate into the

Bose-Einstein Condensation in a Circular Waveguide [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2005
We have produced Bose-Einstein condensates in a ring-shaped magnetic waveguide. The few-millimeter diameter non-zero bias ring is formed from a time-averaged quadrupole ring. Condensates which propagate around the ring make several revolutions within the time it takes for them to expand to fill the ring.
