Antenna Design for Directivity-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy

open access: yesInternational Journal of Optics, 2012
Antenna performance can be described by two fundamental parameters: directivity and radiation efficiency. Here, we demonstrate nanoantenna designs in terms of improved directivity.

Design of a Ku-Band High-Purity Transducer for the TM01 Circular Waveguide Mode by Means of T-Type Junctions

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
A new mode transducer for converting the TE10 rectangular waveguide mode to the TM01 circular waveguide mode is presented. The novel topology is based on two T-type junctions with in-phase excitation at their input rectangular ports.

Propagation of electromagnetic pulses and calculation of dynamic invariants in a waveguide with a convex shell [PDF]

open access: yesКомпьютерная оптика, 2018
In this paper, we consider a method for solving a system of Maxwell's equations in the case of time-dependent boundary conditions at the end of a waveguide with superconducting walls.

Light‐Actuated Fiber‐Climbing Inchworm Robot Toward Endoluminal Navigation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A kirigami‐inspired soft inchworm robot harnesses optical energy from a customized side‐emitting optical fiber, guaranteeing its propulsion along the fiber body. The wavelength‐selective responsiveness of dye‐functionalized liquid crystal elastomers and the application of temporal illumination patterns enable sequential control of robot components. The

Twin Crystal Moiré Metasurfaces for Crossing Flat‐Band Transport

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study introduces twin crystal moiré metasurfaces, breaking in‐plane symmetry to enable reconfigurable acoustic wave manipulation. By adjusting the twin angle and interlayer twist angle, various combinations of hyperbolic, flat bands, and elliptic states can be synthesized in the system.
