Reactance of Posts in Circular Waveguide
IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 2007Experimental and numerical simulation results are presented for the reactance of centered variable-height single and double posts in a circular waveguide. The reactance is a function of the waveguide and post dimensions and frequency, and the results presented are useful in the design of a variety of circular waveguide devices involving these elements.

Rectangular waveguide diplexers with a circular waveguide common port
IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 2003Design of rectangular waveguide diplexers with a circular waveguide common port is presented. Ridged H- and E-plane circular-to-rectangular-waveguide T-junctions are proposed as an optimum diplexing manifold. Full-wave optimization is used in the diplexer design.

Scattering at the junction of a rectangular waveguide and a larger circular waveguide
IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 1995A full wave, formally exact solution is obtained for the problem of scattering at the junction of a rectangular waveguide and a larger circular waveguide. The general case of an arbitrary offset of the waveguide axes is considered. E-field mode matching over the rectangular aperture of the smaller guide is facilitated by a transformation of the ...

Transmission characteristics of circular waveguide with coaxial-to-circular waveguide transitions
2015 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation & USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting, 2015The reflection and transmission characteristics of a circular waveguide with coaxial-to-circular waveguide transitions are evaluated using Galerkin's method of moments. Because of the axisymmetric structure as well as the assumption of a TEM-mode incident wave, which is an axisymmetric mode, the scattered waves from the structural discontinuities can ...
