Transmissive coding metasurface with dual-circularly polarized multi-beam.

open access: yesOptics Express, 2022
The Pancharatnam-Berry (PB) phase can be used to control the phase of circularly polarized electromagnetic waves. However, there are few studies on the modulation of dual-circularly polarized multi-beam using the transmissive coding metasurface. A scheme

A practical scheme for generating isolated elliptically polarized attosecond pulses using bi-chromatic counter rotating circularly polarized laser fields [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Spectra of circularly polarized harmonics is calculated by numerically solving the Time-Dependent Schr\"{o}dinger Equation for a 2D model of Ne atom using circularly polarized fundamental with counter-rotating second harmonic laser fields. We demonstrate

Circularly Polarized Antennas

open access: yes, 2013
In recent years low profile, lightness, compactness, easy manufacturing and integrability with solid-state devices on a circuit board have become a priority in the antenna design. Microstrip antennas are a possible answer to these new requirements in several areas, such as remote sensing, mobile satellite and cellular communications, direct broadcast ...

Berry phase of light Bragg-reflected by chiral liquid crystal media [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Berry phase is revealed for circularly polarized light when it is Bragg-reflected by a chiral liquid crystal medium of the same handedness. By using a chiral nematic layer we demonstrate that if the input plane of the layer is rotated with respect to a ...

Designs and Applications of Circularly Polarized Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence Molecules

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, 2021
The design of fluorophores merging circularly polarized luminescence and thermally activated delayed fluorescence properties has recently emerged as a promising direction for the development of efficient CP‐Organic Light‐Emitting Diodes (CP‐OLEDs).

Fluid Models for Kinetic Effects on Coherent Nonlinear Alfven Waves. II. Numerical Solutions [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
The influence of various kinetic effects (e.g. Landau damping, diffusive and collisional dissipation, and finite Larmor radius terms) on the nonlinear evolution of finite amplitude Alfvenic wave trains in a finite-beta environment is systematically ...

Dual-Band Omnidirectional Circularly Polarized Antenna

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 2013
A dual-band omnidirectional circularly polarized antenna is proposed. The antenna comprises back-to-back microstrip patches fed by a coplanar waveguide. A very low frequency ratio of 1.182 has been achieved, which can be easily tuned by adjusting four lumped capacitors incorporated into the antenna.

Circularly polarized reflection spectra of a photonic beetle and preparation of tunable circularly polarized light reflecting device consisting of conductive polymer/beetle exoskeleton

open access: yesNext Materials
The surface structure of the exoskeleton of Anomala albopilosa as a photonic insect is visually examined, followed by the measurement of the circularly polarized laser reflection spectrum to assess the reflection of circularly polarized light from the ...
