A new pest recorded in Italy: The South African citrus thrips, Scirtothrips aurantii (Thysanoptera: Thripidae)

Abstract The South African citrus thrips, Scirtothrips aurantii Faure, 1929, has been recorded in Italy for the first time. This species was recently reported in Spain and Portugal.
