Long‐Range Coordination Environment Modulates Single‐Atom Local States and Systemic Impact on CO2 Photoconversion

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Terminal groups on Cu porphyrins modulate the electronic states of single‐atom Cu centers through a long‐range electronic effect, without altering the Cu coordination geometry. Meanwhile, a multi‐descriptor framework is established that incorporates porphyrin regulation, hybrid catalyst properties, and CO2 photoreduction capabilities.

Is It Real Type‐II or S‐Scheme? A Three‐Phase Diagnostic Protocol for Identifying Potentially Mislabeled Heterojunction Photocatalysts

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Diagnostic analysis via the heterojunction validation funnel. The funnel illustrates the hierarchical stratification of 30 reported Type‐II systems based on the three‐phase, seven‐step diagnostic framework. Complete validation through all phases is achieved by only 3.3% of systems, while 96.7% lack full mechanistic validation, revealing a pervasive ...

Quantifying the performance of dual-use rainwater harvesting systems

open access: yesWater Research X, 2021
Rainwater harvesting systems in urban settings are increasingly relied upon to mitigate pluvial flooding on top of providing an additional water supply. Alternative designs have been proposed to support their dual use.

Coagulative Granular Hydrogels with an Enzyme Catalyzed Fibrin Network for Endogenous Tissue Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Coagulative granular hydrogels are composed of packed thrombin‐functionalized microgels that catalyze the conversion of fibrinogen into a secondary fibrin network, filling the interstitial voids. This bio‐inspired approach stabilizes the biomaterial to match the robustness of bulk hydrogels without compromising injectability, mimicking the initial ...

Modifed Seismic Response Coefficient (CS) for Designing Super High-Rise Buildings using Performance-Based Design Method

open access: yesJurnal Teknik Sipil
Performance-Based Design (PBD) method is widely used to design or evaluate super high-rise building against earthquake loads. The building is expected to present a certain level of performance set on FEMA 303 in response to ground motions, and should ...

Experimental studies of fiber concrete creep

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2017
The results of two-stage experimental studies of the strength and deformation characteristics of fibrous concrete reinforced with steel fiber. In the experiments we used steel fiber with bent ends, which practically does not form "hedgehogs", which ...

Tough, Ductile, and Strong Hard‐Soft Cementitious Composite Enabled by Multi‐Material Additive Manufacturing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Drawing inspiration from the layered hard‐soft architecture found in sea sponges, this work establishes a new framework for architected cementitious composites (ACC) through multi‐material additive manufacturing (MMAM) process. The integration of mortar and elastomer phases into layered architectures enables synergistic toughening mechanisms, including
