The demand for healthier, more natural, and sustainable foods has increased, which drives the development of clean label food products. The clean label trend is associated with developing food products with as few ingredients as possible, free of ...

Applicable Plant Proteins and Dietary Fibers for Simulate Plant-Based Yogurts
Effects of plant proteins and dietary fibers on the physical properties of stirred soy yogurt were investigated. Buffering capacity against lactic acid was not affected by the protein concentration for any of the four proteins that were examined: isolate

Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Some Robustness Properties of Label Cleaning
We demonstrate that learning procedures that rely on aggregated labels, e.g., label information distilled from noisy responses, enjoy robustness properties impossible without data cleaning. This robustness appears in several ways. In the context of risk consistency -- when one takes the standard approach in machine learning of minimizing a surrogate ...

Lactic acid bacteria metabolites can be used as a clean-label strategy for meat products due to their “natural” and antibacterial properties. In this study, the feasibility of using cell-free supernatant of Lactiplantibacillus plantarum 90 (LCFS) as a ...

Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Dynamics of Microbial Communities in Nitrite-Free and Nutritionally Improved Dry Fermented Sausages
Dry fermented sausage innovation trends are linked to consumer preferences for clean label and sodium-reduced foods. This study aims to evaluate the effect of the formulation and production process temperature on the dynamics of bacterial communities in ...

Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Clean Label Attacks Against SLU Systems
Poisoning backdoor attacks involve an adversary manipulating the training data to induce certain behaviors in the victim model by inserting a trigger in the signal at inference time. We adapted clean label backdoor (CLBD)-data poisoning attacks, which do not modify the training labels, on state-of-the-art speech recognition models that support/perform ...

Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...
