Boosting Conversion Efficiency in Zn3P2/InP Solar Cells Via Nanoscale Junction Engineering
This study demonstrates the efficacy of selective area epitaxy (SAE) in enhancing the conversion efficiency of a Zn3P2${\rm Zn}_3{\rm P}_2$/InP heterojunction solar cell. The impact of the SAE pattern dimensions on the performance parameters is investigated. Small size opening limits Jsc because of current crowding whereas large size opening limits Voc

Short-Term Solar Radiation Prediction Based on Convolution Neural Network and Fitted Clear-Sky Model
This study proposes an advanced short-term Direct Normal Irradiance (DNI) prediction model for Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) systems, integrating a convolutional neural network (CNN) with a fitted clear-sky DNI model.

Chitin‐Derived Carbon‐Metal Functional Materials
Functional carbon materials are synthesized from combination of biopolymer (chitin) and iron precursors. The resultant material exhibits superior surface area and adsorptive properties compared to carbon materials synthesized directly from pure chitin.

Evaluation of the Surface Downward Longwave Radiation Estimation Models over Land Surface
Surface downward longwave radiation (SDLR) is crucial for maintaining the global radiative budget balance. Due to their ease of practicality, SDLR parameterization models are widely used, making their objective evaluation essential.

Model OLD0: A Physical Parameterization for Clear-Sky Downward Longwave Radiation [PDF]
Downward longwave irradiance DLF is one of the main components of the surface radiation balance (SRB), but its direct measurement is currently limited. Clouds modulate its behavior, and clear-sky DLF0 is predominant in composition of the final DLF value.

Tailoring Light Management in All‐Perovskite Tandem Solar Cells: The Impact of Nanotextures
To further improve the power conversion efficiency of all‐perovskite tandem solar cells, light management strategies need to be implemented. Front‐sided nanotextures reduce reflection losses, which boosts light absorption, thus increasing the tandem JSC, which is further supported by reducing parasitic absorption.

A generative hidden Markov model of the clear-sky index
Clear-sky index (CSI) generative models are of paramount importance in, e.g., studying the integration of solar power in the electricity grid. Several models have recently been proposed with methodologies that are related to hidden Markov models (HMMs).

Sky‐Directional Radiative Cooling Meta‐Films for Daylighting Windows
A geometry‐mediated microprism meta‐film enables transparent, sky‐directional radiative cooling for daylighting windows. By decoupling control of visible transmittance from mid‐infrared emissivity, ground‐emitted heat absorption is suppressed while skyward heat dissipation is enhanced.
