A Novel Protein NAB1‐356 Encoded by circRNA circNAB1 Mitigates Atrial Fibrillation by Reducing Inflammation and Fibrosis

The circRNA circNAB1 is downregulated in AF patient. Silencing circNAB1 promotes collagen deposition and inflammation, whereas overexpression reduces AF susceptibility. circNAB1 encodes the protein NAB1 356 that interacts with EGR1 to mitigate fibrosis and inflammation.

Separable Effects for Causal Inference in the Presence of Competing Events [PDF]

In time-to-event settings, the presence of competing events complicates the definition of causal effects. Here we propose the new separable effects to study the causal effect of a treatment on an event of interest. The separable direct effect is the treatment effect on the event of interest not mediated by its effect on the competing event.

TRIM25‐Mediated INSIG1 Ubiquitination Promotes MASH Progression Through Reprogramming Lipid Metabolism

TRIM25‐mediated ubiquitination of INSIG1 serves as a key driver of lipid metabolism dysregulation in MASH progression. It identifies a novel small‐molecule inhibitor, C27H26N2O4S, which effectively inhibits TRIM25 activity, reducing lipid accumulation and inflammation.
