Clinoptilolite in the drug refractory chronic diarrhoea.
La Clinica terapeuticaThe aim of study was to assess the safety and tolerability of a specific zeolite powder (Xeoderm powder, Phytoitalia S.r.l -Corbetta, Italy) and its effectiveness on health-related quality of life, bowel habits, psychological status (i.e., anxiety, depression, and stress).100 patients affected by inadequately treated chronic or recurrent diarrhoea were

Adsorption on Romanian natural clinoptilolite
Zeolites, 1983Abstract Adsorption of carbon dioxide, sulphur dioxide, ammonia, and nitric oxide from air, and of hydrogen sulphide from methane, on Romanian natural zeolite in natural and modified form, is reported. The adsorption capacities, at 20°C, in flow conditions for several partial pressures of pollutants and for different linear velocity of the gaseous ...

Thermoanalytical investigation of natural clinoptilolites
Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR Division of Chemical Science, 19791. Thermoanalytical TG, DTG, and DTA curves have been obtained, first for the natural clinoptilolites from the Nor Kokhb and Khekordzula beds in Armenia and Georgia, and then for modified forms of these minerals prepared by ion-exchange methods. 2.

Sorption of cobalt on modified clinoptilolites
Journal of Radioanalytical Chemistry, 1975The sorption of cobalt on natural and modified clinoptiolites has been studied. It has been demonstrated that the higher sorption of cobalt on modified clinoptinolites than on natural ones is due to precipitation reactions. The precipitates formed on the sorbent have been investigated by infrared spectrometrical, microscopical, and X-ray analyses.

Pressed clinoptilolite and mixed copper-clinoptilolite disk membranes for hydrogen separation
2015Natural zeolites have crystalline nanopores, which make them suitable as membranes for small molecular separations. Rock sections machined from such deposits have demonstrated the combination of properties yields promising selectivity but these membranes cannot be adequately scaled.
