Sorptive properties of the Transcarpathian clinoptilolite compared to Ag(I) were studied in a dynamic way. The sorptive capacity value of clinoptilolite under the optimal conditions is 11.7 mg of Ag per 1 g of zeolite.

Abstract The highly variable spatial composition of desert soils remains a major source of uncertainty in estimates of dust radiative forcing. Existing soil mineralogy data sets used in climate models are limited by sparse ground observations and coarse spatial resolution.

IONITES ON THE BASIS OF CLINOPTILOLITE
Organomineral ionites have been synthesized, in which natural mineral sorbent is chemically bound to organic part of a molecsule, containing ionogen groups. Ionogen groups of these ionites contribute to efficient exchange in water solutions.

The effects of clinoptilolite on piglet and heavy pig production
To evaluate the effects of clinoptilolite on piglet and heavy pig production two separated trials have been performed. In the first trial 40 pigs of the initial body weight of 55 kg were used. Animals were homogeneously allocated to two groups: a control

Mordenite is a naturally occurring zeolite mineral that is the seventh most common zeolite mineral globally, forming at low temperatures (≥100°C) in hydrothermal systems. In New Zealand, extensive deposits of mordenite are commonly associated with areas of hydrothermal alteration, particularly in the Coromandel and Taupo Volcanic Zones.

Removal of Cs ions from aqueous solutions by using matrices of natural clinoptilolite and its safe disposal [PDF]
The possibility to use natural zeolite - clinoptilolite as a host material for radioactive Cs immobilization has been investigated. Cs-exchanged form of clinoptilolite which was prepared by treatment of clinoptilolite powder with 0.25 M CsCl ...

Alteration of Feldspar‐Rich Rocks on Ancient Mars and Its Possible Link to Ca/Fe‐Rich Carbonates
Abstract Feldspar‐rich rocks have increasingly been discovered on the martian surface. They may have been an important part of the ancient martian crust and may be related to Ca/Fe‐rich carbonates (one of two types of carbonates on Mars and the other being Mg‐rich carbonates), but compared to mafic rocks, their interaction with water on ancient Mars is
