Neurenteric cyst of the Clivus
Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, 2008Neurenteric cysts are rare benign endodermal lesions of the central nervous system, mostly located in the spine; they are rarely reported in the clivus. We present herein a case of neurenteric cyst of the clivus, and discuss its embryology, pathology, differential diagnosis, and management. This case received the approval of the IRB for publication.

Aspergillus Osteomyelitis of Clivus
World Neurosurgery, 2018A 64-year-old man presented with a 2-month history of headache. The patient had a history of 30 years of diabetes. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed a lesion involving the sphenoid sinus and clivus. Surgery was performed through a transsphenoidal approach. Pathology suggested the diagnosis of the presence of Aspergillus.

Clivus meningeoma is a relatively rare tumor with difficult surgical accession. Large and giant tumors acquire a very close relation to the brain stem, cranial nerves and brain vessels. In 10 our of 13 patients, the large tumor diameter exceeded 4 cm, and in half of them it was larger than 5 cm (max. 6.5 cm).
