The Terminal Domains of Collagen‐Like Silk Direct Molecular Interactions and Liquid–Liquid Phase Separation‐Mediated Material Assembly

Terminal domains of recombinant collagen‐like silk regulate hierarchical self‐assembly across molecular and material scales. We show that terminal domains of collagen‐like silk enhance triple‐helix stability and drive liquid–liquid phase separation, enabling reversible formation of fibers and self‐healing films.

Pressure skin wounds are frequent complications after spinal cord injury (SCI), with impaired healing due to vascular and immune deficits. Elastin‐like polypeptides (ELP) fused to α‐MSH (MSH‐ELP) or MCP‐1 (MCP‐ELP) are developed and tested on these wounds. Hybrid Nanofibers for Multimodal Accelerated Wound Healing

Fabrication of wound healing scaffolds based on biocompatible nanofibers. Nanofibers offering high surface area, flexibility, and biocompatibility significantly improved the healing outcome in vivo. Histological, immunological, and anti‐inflammatory markers are noticeably better in treated wounds.
