Micropillar‐Engineered Hybrid Adhesive Patch for Surface‐Conformable and Directional Adhesion
This work presents a surface‐conformable hybrid adhesive integrating height‐optimized hexagonal micropillars with open‐rectangular cuts. The micropillars enhance rough‐surface contact and microscale crack arrest, while the cuts guide and reverse interfacial cracks for strong and directional adhesion. The multiscale architecture achieves robust pull‐off

All‐organic channel‐layer OFETs are shown to enable visible‐light photoprogramming via triplet‐sensitized diarylethene switching. Preferential localization of the photoswitch and organic sensitizer in intercrystalline amorphous domains preserves polymer crystalline packing while ensuring short‐range Dexter‐type triplet–triplet energy transfer and solid‐

Recycling control by divertor pumping in the closed helical divertor of LHD
Abstract Controlling hydrogen fuel particles is critical for achieving a steady-state operation in magnetic confinement fusion devices. In the Large Helical Device, efforts to control wall recycling have led to the development of a closed helical divertor (CHD) with integrated in-vessel pumping systems. This paper review presents the conceptual

Targeting Lactate and Lactylation in Cancer Metabolism and Immunotherapy
Lactate, once deemed a metabolic waste, emerges as a central regulator of cancer progression. This review elucidates how lactate and its epigenetic derivative, protein lactylation, orchestrate tumor metabolism, immune suppression, and therapeutic resistance.

Engineering New‐to‐Nature Biological Pathways for β,γ‐Alkanediol Synthesis
β,γ‐Alkanediols are value‐added chemicals to be used as functional solvents, biofuels, and cosmetic components. This work demonstrates a carboligation‐mediated approach for synthesis of linear chain β,γ‐alkanediols in Escherichia coli, namely, hexane‐2,3‐diol (2,3‐HDO) and pentane‐2,3‐diol (2,3‐PDO). The engineered E. coli cells produce 152.2 mm (17.98

Astrocytic TIA1‐mediated stress granules (SGs) promote demyelination by sequestering the mRNA of cholesterol synthesis genes. In this model, astrocytic TIA1‐mediated SGs were increased in the optic nerves of EAE mice, leading to the downregulation of cholesterol synthesis genes such as HMGCS1 through sequestration of their mRNA into SGs, which ...

Enrichment of impurities seeded for exhaust control in a spherical tokamak power plant geometry
Through SOLPS-ITER simulations, we have investigated the ability of seeded argon and neon impurities to effectively control divertor power loading in a power-plant-class spherical tokamak geometry.
