We quote the author's words: ``Let \(D\) be a domain with quotient field \(K\). The polynomial closure of a subset \(E\) of \(K\) is the largest subset \(F\) of \(K\) such that each polynomial (with coefficients in \(K\)), which maps \(E\) into \(D\), maps also \(F\) into \(D\).

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

This essay examines the ways in which metaphysical detective stories subvert one of detective fiction’s most emblematic features: the investigation’s resolution and the subsequent narrative closure. In the “The Man of the Crowd” (1840), the father of the

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Multioperations are operations from a finite set A to set of all subsets of A. The usual composition operator leads to a continuum of closed sets. Therefore, the research of closure operators, which contain composition and other operations becomes ...

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Closure and Happy Endings in Janet Frame’s The Lagoon and Other Stories
Closure and happy endings are not phrases that immediately come to mind when looking at Janet Frame’s stories in her first collection The Lagoon and Other Stories (1951), texts marked by low narrative content and inconclusiveness which nevertheless ...

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.
