ClpS, a Substrate Modulator of the ClpAP Machine [PDF]

open access: yesMolecular Cell, 2002
In the bacterial cytosol, ATP-dependent protein degradation is performed by several different chaperone-protease pairs, including ClpAP. The mechanism by which these machines specifically recognize substrates remains unclear. Here, we report the identification of a ClpA cofactor from Escherichia coli, ClpS, which directly influences the ClpAP machine ...

WWW Programming using computational logic systems (and the PiLLoW/Ciao library) [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
We discuss from a practical point of view a number of issues involved in writing Internet and WWW applications using LP/CLP systems. We describe Pd_l_oW, a public-domain Internet and WWW programming library for LP/CLP systems which we argüe ...

'Under a shower of bird-notes': R. S. Thomas's elegiac poems for Elsi [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
It has been customary to see elegies by male poets as exceptional rather than typical poems. W. H. Auden wrote that ‘Poets seem to be more generally successful at writing elegies than at any other literary genre’.

CHITINASE-LIKE PROTEINS AS PROMISING MARKERS IN CANCER PATIENTS

open access: yesСибирский онкологический журнал, 2018
In the present review we collected the main studies regarding the role of chitinase-like proteins (CLPs), belonging to the family of Glyco_18 domain-containing proteins, in different cancers. In  humans, 3 chitinaselike proteins have been identified: YKL-

Towards independent and-parallelism in CLP [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
In this paper we propose a complete scheme for automatic exploitation of independent and-parallelism in CLP programs. We first discuss the new problems involved because of the different properties of the independence notions applicable to CLP. We then show how independence can be derived from a number of standard analysis domains for CLP.

CLP projection for constraint handling rules [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 13th international ACM SIGPLAN symposium on Principles and practices of declarative programming, 2011
This paper introduces and studies the notion of CLP projection for Constraint Handling Rules (CHR). The CLP projection consists of a naive translation of CHR programs into Constraint Logic Programs (CLP). We show that the CLP projection provides a safe operational and declarative approximation for CHR programs.

A practical approach to the global analysis of CLP programs [PDF]

open access: yes, 1993
This paper presents and illustrates with an example a practical approach to the dataflow analysis of programs written in constraint logic programming (CLP) languages using abstract interpretation.
