Clustering tomography: measuring cosmological distances through angular clustering in thin redshift shells [PDF]
We test the cosmological implications of studying galaxy clustering using a tomographic approach, by computing the galaxy two-point angular correlation function $ ( )$ in thin redshift shells using a spectroscopic-redshift galaxy survey. The advantages of this procedure are that it is not necessary to assume a fiducial cosmology in order to convert ...

M31’s Undisturbed Thin Disk of Globular Clusters [PDF]
We show that there is a subsystem of the M31 globular clusters with THIN DISK kinematics. These clusters span the entire metallicity range of the M31 globular cluster system, in contrast to the (thick) disk globulars in the Milky Way which are predominantly metal-rich.

Clustering in thin silver films upon heating
Abstract The kinetics of the formation of silver clusters Ag from nanoscale continuous films of Ag on the surface of silicate glass and composite structures from films of Ag with carbon in the form of a continuous film and individual nanoparticles upon annealing in air at temperatures up to 670K is investigated. In the course of the work,

Northern conditions are challenging for grape and wine producers. To cope with these challenges, the use of early ripening interspecific hybrid Vitis sp., such as Seyval blanc and Vandal-Cliche, is often preferred to traditional V. vinifera.
