Schooling Trajectories and the Development of Brain Dynamics: A Comparative Study of Montessori and Traditional Education

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We investigate whether Montessori and traditional schooling systems shape the developmental trajectory of large‐scale brain dynamics in different ways. We quantify the arrow of time (“non‐reversibility”) in neural activity during resting state and movie‐watching, revealing distinct maturational patterns.

Infrared Patch-Tensor Model With Weighted Tensor Nuclear Norm for Small Target Detection in a Single Frame

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
The robust and efficient detection of infrared small target is a key technique for infrared search and track systems. Several robust principal component analysis (RPCA)-based methods have been developed recently, which have achieved the state-of-the-art ...

Janus‐Type Electrostatic Potential Gradient‐Activated Dynamic Zn2+‐Coordinating Nitrogen Sites in Molecularly Locked Nanocellulose Separators for Stable Zinc‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A multifunctional benzimidazole‐terminated CNF separator is constructed via a PEI‐mediated covalent locking strategy, generating dense zincophilic sites that accelerate Zn2+ transport and desolvation while enabling uniform Zn (002) deposition and suppressing side reactions.

Metasurface‐Enabled Active‐Like Passive Radar

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A programmable space‐time‐coding metasurface embeds distinct spatiotemporal tags into ambient wireless signals, allowing passive radar to operate in an active‐like manner. By enabling code‐correlated reconstruction under interference, the approach supports robust real‐time UAV tracking in complex environments and points to intelligent, low‐power ...

New methods for constructing shellable simplicial complexes

open access: yesپژوهش‌های ریاضی, 2022
A clutter $mathcal{C}$ with vertex set $[n]$ is an antichain of subsets of $[n]$, called circuits, covering all vertices. The clutter is $d$-uniform if all of its circuits have the same cardinality $d$.

Articulatory Variability in Cluttering [PDF]

open access: yesFolia Phoniatrica et Logopaedica, 2008
In order to investigate the articulatory processes of the hasty and mumbled speech in cluttering, the kinematic variability was analysed by means of electromagnetic midsagittal articulography. In contrast to persons with stuttering, those with cluttering improve their intelligibility by concentrating on their speech task. Variability has always been an

Femtosecond‐Laser‐Induced Physical Unclonable Random Maze Structure for Storage‐Free Encryption

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Femtosecond‐laser‐induced gold random maze structures serve as multimodal physical unclonable functions for storage‐free encryption. Their stochastic optical, electrical, and Raman responses are generated by plasmon‐assisted Marangoni formation and converted into AES‐compatible keys without permanent secret‐key storage, offering a portable route toward

Terahertz Channel Modeling, Estimation and Localization in RIS‐Assisted Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Reconfigurable intelligent surfaces have become a recent intensive research focus. Based on practical applications, channel strategies for RIS‐assisted terahertz wireless communication systems are categorized into three different types: channel modeling, channel estimation, and channel localization.

Clutter tuning for bistatic clutter control [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 2001 IEEE Radar Conference (Cat. No.01CH37200), 2002
A radar modeling and simulation tool known as RLSTAP is used to model a bistatic clutter tuning scenario. The transmit system and the receive system "circle" the ground patch where the target lies in opposite senses so the Doppler shift due to the motion of the transmit (Tx) system is cancelled by an equal and opposite Doppler shift due to the motion ...
