Monoallelic POLR3A Variants Cause Early‐Onset Peripheral Neuropathy
Objective Biallelic variants in genes encoding the RNA polymerase III complex (Pol III) cause a spectrum of neurological disorders primarily affecting the central nervous system. Monoallelic variants have been reported in the POLR3B subunit only, associated with neurodevelopmental disorder, epilepsy, and peripheral neuropathy.

Abstract Aim Mebendazole (MBZ), a benzimidazole anthelmintic with established clinical use, has emerged as a repurposing candidate for primary brain tumours due to its multimodal anticancer actions and central nervous system penetrance. This systematic review synthesizes preclinical and clinical evidence evaluating MBZ's efficacy, mechanisms of action ...

On a Model for the Storage of Files on a Hardware: Statistics at a Fixed Time and Asymptotic Regimes
We consider a version in continuous time of the parking problem of Knuth. Files arrive following a Poisson point process and are stored on a hardware identified with the real line, in the closest free portions at the right of the arrival location.

Design of experiments based on a low fidelity model for seismic fragility curves estimation [PDF]
Seismic fragility curves are key quantities of interest for Seismic Probabilistic Risk Assessment studies. They express the probability of failure of a mechanical structure of interest conditional to a scalar value derived from the ground motion signal ...

An Inverse Problem Approach for Content Popularity Estimation
The Internet increasingly focuses on content, as exemplified by the now popular Information Centric Networking paradigm. This means, in particular, that estimating content popularities becomes essential to manage and distribute content pieces efficiently.

Time‐Continuous Prognostic Mapping of Bell's Palsy Using Yanagihara Scores and Electroneurography
This study developed a novel, time‐continuous prognostic mapping for Bell's palsy by integrating longitudinal Yanagihara scores and electroneurography in patients treated with high‐dose corticosteroids. By employing a Bayesian probabilistic approach, this model enables individualized recovery estimation at any clinical time point, overcoming the ...
