CMIA for Sensor Applications

open access: yes, 2018
This chapter deals with the applications of CMIA in sensor output signal conditioning. These include, in particular, piezo-resistive, capacitive, temperature and pH sensors. Each section starts with a brief introduction on each sensor and then the CMIA circuit for signal conditioning of sensor output is analyzed.

Comparison of the everolimus concentrations measured in whole blood with everolimus QMS or sirolimus CMIA

open access: yesScandinavian Journal of Clinical and Laboratory Investigation, 2018
Few years ago, it was proposed that everolimus blood levels could be determined with the commercially available sirolimus chemiluminescence magnetic microparticle immunoassay (CMIA). More recently, a highly specific microsphere system (QMS) has been approved by FDA for therapeutic drug monitoring in humans.

CMRR in Voltage-Op-Amp-Based Current-Mode Instrumentation Amplifiers (CMIA)

IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 2009
The common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of a power-supply current-sensing current-mode instrumentation amplifier (CMIA) has theoretically been analyzed and formulated. The theory was further investigated by doing experiments using mu A741 and TL071 as op-amps and CA3096 transistors as the current mirrors of the CMIA.

New Applications of Carbonylmetalloimmunoassay (CMIA): A Non-Radioisotopic Approach to Cortisol Assay

Journal of Immunological Methods, 1994
A non-isotopic heterogeneous competitive immunoassay procedure, carbonylmetalloimmunoassay (CMIA) has been applied to the assay of cortisol. The organometallic tracers employed were two stereoisomers (Z and E) of certain cobalt carbonyl complexes of cortisol which have strong, characteristic v(CO) absorptions in the infrared, detectable by Fourier ...

Evaluation of the Carbonyl Metallo Immunoassay (CMIA) for the Determination of Traces of the Herbicide Atrazine

Journal of Organometallic Chemistry, 2003
Abstract The non-isotopic immunoassay (CMIA) was investigated for the quantification of the herbicide atrazine. This assay combines transition metal carbonyl complex and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. We describe the synthesis of three dicobalt hexacarbonyl tracers, derivatives of atrazine.
