Testing the 2-TeV Resonance with Trileptons [PDF]
The CMS collaboration has reported a 2.8$\sigma$ excess in the search of the SU(2)$_R$ gauge bosons decaying through right-handed neutrinos into the two electron plus two jets ($eejj$) final states.

Dual targeting of RET and SRC synergizes in RET fusion‐positive cancer cells
Despite the strong activity of selective RET tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), resistance of RET fusion‐positive (RET+) lung cancer and thyroid cancer frequently occurs and is mainly driven by RET‐independent bypass mechanisms. Son et al. show that SRC TKIs significantly inhibit PAK and AKT survival signaling and enhance the efficacy of RET TKIs in ...

Detector and Event Visualization with SketchUp at the CMS Experiment
We have created 3D models of the CMS detector and particle collision events in SketchUp, a 3D modelling program. SketchUp provides a Ruby API which we use to interface with the CMS Detector Description to create 3D models of the CMS detector.

Effective therapeutic targeting of CTNNB1‐mutant hepatoblastoma with WNTinib
WNTinib, a Wnt/CTNNB1 inhibitor, was tested in hepatoblastoma (HB) experimental models. It delayed tumor growth and improved survival in CTNNB1‐mutant in vivo models. In organoids, WNTinib outperformed cisplatin and showed enhanced efficacy in combination therapy, supporting its potential as a targeted treatment for CTNNB1‐mutated HB.

The results of work on the breeding of early-maturing hybrids of white cabbage in the Kuban region
Relevance. The climatic conditions of Krasnodar region allow for the cultivation of early-ripening white cabbage, a source of vitamins and microelements, from mid-April to mid-July, using spring film greenhouses and open ground.

Heavy flavor Production and Interactions in Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collisions in CMS Experiment
This paper presents the CMS measurements of quarkonia and open heavy flavor production in \pp, \pPb, and \PbPb collisions at \sqrtsnn = 2.76 and 5.02 TeV. A brief outlook of the near-future CMS heavy flavor physics analyses is provided at the end.Comment:

Commissioning of the CMS High Level Trigger [PDF]
The CMS experiment will collect data from the proton-proton collisions delivered by the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at a centre-of-mass energy up to 14 TeV. The CMS trigger system is designed to cope with unprecedented luminosities and LHC bunch-crossing

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox
