Dressed Quark Propagator at Finite Temperature in the Schwinger-Dyson approach with the Rainbow Approximation - exact numerical solutions and their physical implication [PDF]
The Schwinger-Dyson equation for the quark in the rainbow approximation at finite temperature (T) is solved numerically without introducing any ansatz for the dressed quark propagator.

Non‐canonical PKG1 regulation in cardiovascular health and disease
It is well established that the cyclic GMP‐dependent protein kinase I (PKG1) is canonically activated by cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), enabling its regulation of vascular tone, cardiac function and smooth muscle homeostasis. However, diverse non‐canonical stimuli of PKG1 have also been identified.

Monodromy of Codimension-One Sub-Families of Universal Curves
Suppose that g > 2, that n > 0 and that m > 0. In this paper we show that if E is an irreducible smooth variety which dominates a divisor D in M_{g,n}[m], the moduli space of n-pointed, smooth curves of genus g with a level m structure, then the closure ...

Reducing NOx Emissions of Cargo Handling Equipment (CHE) with Humid Air Systems [PDF]
The authors designed and tested a humid air system (HAS) for reducing NOx emissions of an LPG-powered forklift. The HAS uses distilled water and heat from the exhaust to generate steam that is injected into the intake air of the engine to increase ...

Structure mirroring function: What's the ‘matter’ with the funny current?
Abstract figure legend The ‘funny’ (If) current of cardiac pacemaker cells has been first identified in the late 1970s as a major mechanism in the generation and control of cardiac pacemaking. Decades of studies have since described the properties of the funny current and of its molecular components, HCN channels, in the heart and brain, providing the ...

Unlocking clean gas with hydrogen: A combustion optimization study
Combining hydrogen with natural gas, a hydrocarbon fuel, is seen as a critical step towards reaching net-zero emissions and creating a cleaner environment. To tackle climate change, major organizations like the U.S.

Abstract figure legend Calmodulin (CaM) is a ubiquitous calcium (Ca2+) sensor that translates intracellular Ca2+ signals into modulation of hundreds of effector proteins including ion channels. CaM is increasingly recognized as a key regulator of the transient receptor potential (TRP) channel family, yet the underlying ‘calmodulation playbook’ is only ...

An atom‐by‐atom ternary Cu–Mo–P nanocomposite is electrochemically co‐deposited onto screen‐printed carbon electrodes to create a highly active sensing interface for metformin detection. The porous mixed‐valence network enhances electroactive surface area and charge transfer, enabling sensitive and selective electrooxidation with a low detection limit.
