NF90–NF45 functions as a negative regulator of methyltransferase‐like 3/14 (METTL3/14)‐mediated N6‐methyladenosine (m6A) modification on primary microRNAs (pri‐miRNAs). NF90–NF45 binds to anti‐oncogenic pri‐miRNAs and inhibits their m6A modification, thereby suppressing the biogenesis of anti‐oncogenic miRNAs.

Mouse pre‐implantation development involves a transition from totipotency to pluripotency. Integrating transcriptomics, epigenetic profiling, low‐input proteomics and functional assays, we show that eight‐cell embryos retain residual totipotency features, whereas cytoskeletal remodeling regulated by the ubiquitin‐proteasome system drives progression ...

Investigation of methane production by anaerobic co-digestion of food waste, fats, oil and grease, and thickened waste activated sludge using automatic methane potential test system [PDF]
This project investigated the methane production by anaerobic co-digestion using Automatic Methane Potential Test System (AMPTS). Food waste (FW), waste cooking oil- Canola oil (FOG), and thickened waste activated sludge (TWAS) were used as substrates ...

ZFAS1 is a lncRNA promoting cell proliferation and migration, exhibiting high expression in various cancers. It is conserved, widely expressed, and produces multiple splice variants with unclear roles. We identified several splice variants in hepatocyte models, and found that inhibiting or suppressing regulators of the unfolded protein response (PERK ...

Improving the biomethane yield of Xyris capensis through pretreatment methods and co-digestion [PDF]
The most common substrates for the anaerobic digestion process that release biomethane, a renewable energy source, are lignocellulose materials. Total energy recovery from lignocellulose substrates is challenging due to their recalcitrant nature ...
